Well hello there! It has certainly been a while!
2015 has certainly been a rollercoaster of a year for me. Full of highs that have given me some of the best moments of my life, and lows that have given me so much strength and faith that everything in life WILL and DOES work out.
Let’s recap some of the highlights (and perhaps some trials) of my 2015 shall we?
Gavin tried soccer. HATED it.. He looked so cute in his little uniform though!
We took a super fun family trip to California and Disneyland!
I lost 40 pounds thanks to Weight Watchers.
We visited the Texas State Aquarium.
I moved school districts in order to be closer to home and I am enjoying being at a place that is so challenging and rewarding. (Although I REALLY miss the ladies I used to work with.)
This year… my marriage was put to the test.
My dad was diagnosed with cancer. Cancer. The one word that can change the entire way you see and live your life.
Needless to say, life is unrecognizable.. BUT I refuse to let that get me down. I saw this quote online and it really resonated with me.
So here is to a 2016 that is going to be my best yet! One full of love, laughter, hope, and new beginnings!
